AV Visits a Local Liberian Farm

Farming is more than a hobby in Liberia. It's a lifestyle. I was able to stop by a local farm in Brewerville to learn more about the agricultural opportunities in within the country

Behind me are budding pineapple plants

For some reason I thought pineapples came from trees. I am grateful to have learned they did NOT! Dd you know you can plant a pineapple without a "seed"? All you need to do it cut the head off an plant it. (Who would've thought! )

I "think" this was an orange tree. I could be wrong....

There were also chickens, pigs and goats as well, which combined brought a "special" fragrance to the farm.
